you all don't know me but, earlier in march i had planned on this year being my first beltane gathering but so much has gone so wrong at the last minute and now with the recent death in the family i had to cancel. so it seems my Short Mountain debut will have to wait another year. but thanks to everyone who had info when i needed it and next year i will be more prepared

Fri, May 1, 2009 - 4:25 AMAlas poor Joshua. It is too bad you were unable to make the journey. Fear not, there will be plenty of opportunities along the path for you to visit your tribe. Cetacea and I have been unable to attend the Short Mtn. gathering for five or six years now. But, know once we do get it together we will be welcomed back with open arms. Plus there are other gatherings throughout the year. We are headed towards Camp Camp in Arkansas the second weekend in June. It is a much smaller gathering numbers wise but the spirit and energy there is quite unique.
